Tuesday’s trading activities on the floor of the Nigerian stock market closed bearish again as the All Share Index declined by 0.09% to close at 155,353.20 points from the previous close of 155,496.15 points.
The Market Capitalisation declined by 0.09% to close at N98.607 trillion from the previous close of N98.698 trillion, thereby shedding N91 billion.

An aggregate of 525 million units of shares were traded in 32,430 deals, valued at about N25.4 billion.
The Market Breadth closed negative as 28 equities emerged as gainers against 36 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers

Sovereign Trust Insurance led other gainers with 9.88% growth to close at N4.45 from the previous close of 4.05
ASOSAVINGS, Berger Paints and WAPIC among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.72%, 9.25% and 6.90% respectively.
Percentage Losers

MCNICHOLS led other price decliners as it shed 8.81% of its share price to close at N3.00 from the previous close of N3.29.
LASACO and JOHNHOLT among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 8.62% and 7.69%.
Volume Drivers

Sovereign Trust Insurance traded about 43 million units of its shares in 209 deals, valued at N187.3 million.
Fidelity Bank traded about 42 million units of its shares in 797 deals, valued at N1.3 billion.
FIRSTHOLDCO traded about 38 million units of its shares in 520 deals, valued at N1.18 billion.
